Brake hoses and brake lines
Brake lines and brake hoses are used to transfer the braking force of a vintage Fiat from the brake pedal to the wheel brake cylinders via the brake master cylinder. They also tie the brake fluid reservoir into the brake system. These spare parts are exposed to the environment due to their exposed position under the car and must be checked regularly. The brake hoses are made of rubber and can become porous, the brake lines are made of metal and can rust.
