A restored Fiat 600 D

This beautiful Fiat 600 D from 1966 belongs to our customer Christian, who extensively restored it with his father.

Together they took out the entire interior, removed the rust and repaired any other weak points. They installed a new cuff on the gear lever because the old one had torn. The brakes also had to be replaced, with the Fiat Classic range being used, of course.
One or the other part of the engine also had to be replaced, but a car mechanic took care of that.

After Christian was asked to be the chauffeur at a wedding with three years ago, a truck hit him and his Fiat on the way home ... First thought: "Was all the work now for nothing?!"
The little Fiat then not only had to be repainted and given a new engine cover, but also had to endure various other repairs. But the most important thing was that he could be saved!
Christian got the new lid from a friend directly in Turin, because the one previously installed did not fit properly. Last week, fancy new whitewall tires from our shop were fitted and the rims were powder coated. Andiamo, piccolo!

Have you carried out a special restoration on your Fiat? Have you had an exciting journey with him? Or any other anecdote or snapshot that you would share with us and our Fiat community?
Write us a message, we look forward to hearing from you!
